Dr. Jordan Stanley is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist dedicated to serving Marietta, Cobb County, and the metro Atlanta area. He is the founder of the Marietta ophthalmology practice PureSight Surgical, where he specializes in cataract surgery, glaucoma management, and refractive surgeries including implantable collamer lens (ICL) implantation and refractive lens exchange (RLE). Dr. Stanley is also committed to serving veterans, providing care part-time at the Atlanta VA.
Education
Dr. Stanley’s extensive education and training underscore his expertise as an ophthalmologist. After earning his degree from Harding University and completing medical school at the University of Arkansas, he undertook a rigorous residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Callahan Eye Hospital, where he excelled as chief resident in ophthalmology.
His dedication to excellence in glaucoma management led him to pursue fellowship training at the University of Colorado, where he acquired expertise in advanced medical and surgical techniques.
Dr. Stanley’s commitment to continuous learning is further evident through his active membership in professional societies such as the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO). The Zaldivar Institute is globally renowned for expertise in ICL surgery and was one of the first to offer the procedure in the world. They have used their outcome data to create AI-powered algorithms for accurate lens implant sizing which is considered the gold standard for achieving the best possible patient outcomes.

For adults over 35, Annual Eye Wellness Exams establish a baseline to screen for silent eye conditions, such as glaucoma; prevent future eye problems; and perform additional diagnostic imaging not routinely offered as part of a “vision exam” (as needed).
Outside the Office
Outside of his work as an ophthalmologist, Dr. Stanley spends much of his quality time with his wife, Kinsey, and their four children. He and his family have been residents of Marietta since 2019 and have made their home in the community. Dr. Stanley enjoys the outdoors and staying active, hiking local trails, or exercising at his local CrossFit gym. Each year, he travels to Nicaragua with a surgical mission to perform cataract surgery for underserved patients, a trip that he calls his “favorite week of the year.”
